Notes: This may seem out of the way up on HowellMountain, but it is worth the trip. Pretty, conference-style tasting room. Great property, all run by a family that has spent their life making wine, and it is clear in the flavors.

The very modern tasting room has a bit of a bar feel, but it allows diverse groups to mix. They are just completing an expansion, but it has not affected the tasting room. Notes: In terms of team spirit and winemaking skill Wilson is a star. The outside of the building looks more like a barn than a winery, but do not be fooled. They produce some seriously good wines and pour them with style and enthusiasm. Everyone leaves Wilson with a smile, and it's not just from drinking too much, good management, great team work and fun.
